Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking proposals for an Undergraduate Jet Training System (UJTS) to provide intermediate and advanced training for United States Navy and United States Marine Corps jet aviators and flight officers. The requirement encompasses engineering, manufacturing, and development of the UJTS solution, procurement of the first lot of low-rate initial production aircraft, limited quantities of ground-based training systems, and interim contractor logistics services. The anticipated contract includes cost-plus-incentive-fee work for engineering, manufacturing, and development; firm-fixed-price work for the first low-rate initial production lot; and cost-plus-fixed-fee work for site activation and interim contractor logistics services. Offerors must have a Government-approved accounting system upon contract award because portions of the contract will be cost-type. Controlled Unclassified Information documents will be distributed through DOD SAFE after verification of the appropriate facility clearance level.
