Description
Monmouth County is soliciting services for three Muffin Monster stations, including two inspections per year at all three sites. The work must be performed by one mechanic and one electrician under confined-space-entry procedures and includes removing inspection covers, cleaning debris, checking cutting cartridges and speed reducers, lubricating units according to manufacturer recommendations, testing motors, checking control panels, voltage readings, and electrical connections, observing vibration, and providing written inspection results. The scope also includes regular and overtime labor, parts and materials, and an option for a complete Muffin Monster replacement unit comprising a cutting cartridge, 5 HP motor, 29:1 speed reducer, spool cork, rubber gaskets, bolts, and required miscellaneous parts. The initial contract period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with one two-year renewal option.
