Description
The Town of Centreville is soliciting bids for ten new, factory-new center-pivot irrigation systems to replace existing pivots at 751 Hope Road, Centreville, Maryland. The scope includes removal and disposition of the existing equipment; furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision; delivery and installation on the existing concrete pivot pads; system startup, calibration, functional testing, and on-site operator training. The specified systems include Valley Model 7000 or approved equivalents, Icon5 touchscreen controls, GPS positioning, one year of AgSense or equivalent remote monitoring and telemetry, pressure sensors, diagnostics, tire-pressure monitoring, end guns, booster pumps, and sprinkler packages. Bidders must provide manufacturer literature, an installation schedule meeting the December 22, 2026 completion deadline, warranty information, qualifications and references, applicable licenses, insurance and bonding documentation, federal funding certifications, domestic-origin disclosures, and a completed bid form. The procurement is funded through ARPA/SLFRF and will be awarded based on qualifications and cost; no bid bond or performance bond is required.
