Description
The Department of Commerce’s Office of the Chief Information Officer is conducting market research on a Software as a Service mail relay solution for secure outbound mail across multiple department-owned domains. The solution must DKIM-sign outbound mail, perform inbound and outbound mail hygiene, scan outbound email for data loss prevention, avoid requiring SMTP authentication, use IP-based whitelisting only, and be FedRAMP authorized. The current environment handles approximately 250,000 emails per month, with a peak load of 10,000 emails per hour and an average message size of 220 KB. Interested vendors are asked to submit a capability statement addressing each requirement, along with business and representative details, business size and socioeconomic status if applicable, CAGE code, and any relevant technical information. The capability statement is limited to five pages total, including tables and graphs. This is a voluntary sources-sought market research notice, not a solicitation or commitment to procure.
