Description
The State of Rhode Island is soliciting proposals from licensed asbestos consultants to provide services to user agencies. These services are sought on an "as-needed" basis through mini bids. Utilization by the user agency will be based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to price, expertise, and availability. All vendors must be an asbestos consultant certified by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) and must be and/or affiliated with a testing laboratory certified by RIDOH. The awarded vendor will provide complete asbestos abatement consulting services, including inspection, testing, preparation of asbestos abatement plans, public education, and assistance in preparation of grant or reimbursement applications for abatement activities.
