Description
The Department of the Navy, specifically NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, intends to award a sole-source contract for the repair and modification of 9 remote control units (NSN 4820-015104191). The units are to be delivered to Hamilton Sundstrand in Windsor Locks, CT. The government does not own the data or rights to the data needed to purchase or contract repair from additional sources, making reverse engineering uneconomical. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may submit capability statements within 45 days of publication. The contract will be awarded only if the offeror meets qualification requirements at the time of award.
