Description
The Government of the Virgin Islands' Bureau of Information Technology is soliciting managed detection and response services to augment its enterprise cybersecurity operations. The selected contractor must provide 24x7x365 monitoring, alert triage, advanced threat detection, threat hunting, incident investigation, containment and recovery guidance, automated or assisted response actions, threat intelligence, security operations center augmentation, and escalation support for high-priority events. The service must integrate with the Government's existing cybersecurity environment, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender products, Microsoft Entra ID, Fortinet, Cisco, and other approved technologies. Required deliverables include monthly security operations and executive reports, incident documentation, quarterly service reviews, security posture assessments, metrics, recommendations, and ongoing knowledge transfer. Proposers must demonstrate MDR experience, public-sector or large-organization experience, Microsoft security expertise, incident-response capabilities, relevant certifications, and the ability to operate in a co-managed security model.
