The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is soliciting bids for the DX split system renovation at West Forsyth High School, located at 1735 Lewisville Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC. The project involves the removal of an existing air handling unit and outdoor condensing unit, and the installation of a new packaged rooftop unit (RTU-1) with gas heat, along with associated ductwork, gas piping, and controls. The new RTU is a Trane Precedent YSK300A3S0L or equal, with 25 tons nominal cooling, 8,000 CFM supply air, and 250,000 BTUH heating input. The work includes reconnecting existing ductwork, installing new exterior ductwork with insulation, connecting to the existing gas line, and integrating with the building's DDC control system. The contractor must comply with all applicable codes, provide submittals, and guarantee workmanship for one year.
