Description
The Military Sealift Command seeks offers to charter up to two clean, approved, double-hull tankers for approximately 90 days. Each proposed vessel must be capable of carrying at least 240,000 barrels of clean petroleum products, specifically F76 and/or JP5, and meet detailed vessel, safety, inspection, cargo compatibility, speed, and reporting requirements. The charter covers delivery in the Western Pacific/Sea of Japan, with delivery and redelivery ports at the Charterer’s option; stated intentions are Ulsan, South Korea, for delivery and Sasebo, Japan, for redelivery. Offers must include a signed offer with at least a vessel name and price, completed applicable TANKTIME boxes, vessel technical and certification records, itinerary and stowage plans, certificates of quality for the vessel’s last three cargoes, and the completed fuel-consumption spreadsheet. Large businesses must also submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan. Proposals are evaluated for technical acceptability and price, with up to two awards contemplated.
