Description
The District of Tofino is requesting proposals from qualified multidisciplinary consulting teams to develop a Biodiversity, Habitat Connectivity, and Environmental Protection Implementation Framework. The work will establish a planning and regulatory framework to protect ecological integrity, strengthen habitat connectivity, and support Indigenous stewardship across forests, wetlands, shorelines, riparian ecosystems, wildlife habitats, and other natural assets. The project is an implementation phase of the District's broader 2030 Roadmap for Biodiversity Protection and Enhancement and is intended to support climate adaptation, community well-being, and local contributions toward Canada's 30x30 conservation goals.
