Description
Bay County is soliciting bids for ongoing, as-needed traffic signal loop installation, repair, and replacement at various locations throughout the county. Work will be authorized through task orders and includes Type A, Type B, and Type F traffic signal loops; loop assemblies; pull boxes; loop windows; underground lead-in cable; conduit; and all associated labor, materials, maintenance-of-traffic practices, traffic-control devices, and incidental work. Specific requirements and locations will be identified in individual task orders. Work and materials must comply with the latest edition of Divisions II and III of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Some lane closures may need to occur at night due to seasonal traffic conditions. Bidders must complete the required experience record and questionnaire, provide references available during normal working hours, and hold any required Florida trade licenses. Bidders must identify licensed subcontractors where applicable, and bids may be deemed nonresponsive without proof of required state licenses. The contract is an ongoing, task-order-based requirement with no guaranteed minimum quantity or expenditure.
