Description
The U.S. Mission in Conakry requires non-litigation legal advisory services in Guinean labor law and Guinean immigration law. The contractor will provide expert legal counsel to support operational, administrative, and policy functions related to workforce management and personnel movement. Services include advising on employment compliance, revision of HR policies, local compensation plans, disciplinary procedures, employee downgrades, workplace policies, grievance procedures, wage and hour compliance, workplace investigations, and training on labor law. Additionally, the contractor will advise on visa and work authorization, residency and status compliance, immigration policy analysis, document review and preparation, consular and administrative liaison, repatriation and emergency situations, and training on immigration law. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with two additional 12-month option periods. Services will be performed primarily at the contractor's place of business, with on-site presence at Department facilities as required, and remote advisory services are authorized.
