Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is soliciting a three-year unit-price service contract for electrical equipment inspection, cleaning, calibration, testing, and repair at 24 PATH electrical substations across New York and New Jersey. The scope includes protective relays, medium- and low-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, insulating-liquid sampling and laboratory analysis, replacement of approved parts and components, reporting, and related safety and access requirements. The contractor must maintain current National Electrical Testing Association accreditation and comply with applicable NETA, National Electrical Code, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other standards. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of relevant continuous experience, satisfactory performance under at least two similar contracts, minimum annual gross income of $350,000, and NETA accreditation. The contract has an expected commencement date of November 6, 2026, a three-year term expiring on or about November 5, 2029, and a possible 120-day extension. Work is to be performed on site, with required equipment, personnel, safety training, reports, and materials supplied by the contractor. The bid package requires the completed bid and pricing sheets, estimated contract total, applicable outreach documentation, a completed Background Qualification Questionnaire, and other forms and certifications specified in the solicitation.
