Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting quotes for the repair and overhaul of XMITTER, PRECSIONTRM units, identified by reference number 10-4500 and CAGE code 28199. The contractor must receive the carcasses, perform teardown and evaluation, submit estimated and firm-fixed pricing for the full repair effort, and complete repair, inspection, testing, packaging, marking, and delivery in accordance with the applicable contract requirements and military standards. Quotes must include the cost of a new item for evaluation, teardown and evaluation rates, proposed repair turnaround time, throughput constraints, induction expiration date, pricing for the increased-quantity option, and any exceptions. The requested repair turnaround time is 110 days, while teardown and evaluation must be completed within 90 days after receipt of the carcasses. The contractor must obtain final Government inspection and acceptance within the established turnaround time. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered; non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and provide a signed authorization letter on the OEM's letterhead. The material must be mercury-free and comply with applicable packaging, marking, inspection, testing, and national-defense priority requirements. The solicitation was amended to extend the offers-due and delivery date to November 23, 2026.
