This Notice of Funding Opportunity invites applications for research education programs aimed at developing and implementing intensive research experiences for recent baccalaureate graduates in the field of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). The goal is to expand the skilled AD/ADRD research workforce and prepare individuals for advanced degree programs or research careers in AD-related disciplines. The program specifically supports individuals from all backgrounds, including those underrepresented in biomedical and behavioral sciences. Independent clinical trials are not permitted under this funding opportunity. Eligible applicants include various organizations such as faith-based or community-based organizations, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, and public and private institutions of higher education. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
