Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee task order under SeaPort NxG for engineering support services for the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) and ships in its area of responsibility. Only active SeaPort NxG contract holders may submit offers. The scope includes engineering technicians, combat systems and mechanical support, shipboard system assessment, troubleshooting, repair, testing, training, integrated logistics support, production control, ship-repair planning, and metrology and calibration support. The requirement includes approximately 96,096 estimated direct labor hours across a base period, four option periods, and a six-month extension option, plus travel and other direct costs. Personnel must provide on-site technical support at FDRMC locations in Manama, Bahrain; Naples, Italy; and Rota, Spain, with potential work in Romania, Poland, commercial shipyards, contractor facilities, and naval vessels. Most personnel require Secret clearances, while the Combat Systems Technician (CANES/Afloat Network) requires Top Secret; the minimum task-order security level is Top Secret. Proposals must include contract documentation, facilities-clearance verification, an essential-services continuity plan, technical and transition plans, past-performance information, cost and pricing materials, labor-rate support, indirect-cost calculations, and applicable security and registration information.
