Description
The City of Santa Monica Fire Department is soliciting a mobile, durable training system that captures and recirculates water for high-volume hose-stream training, fire-engine pump testing, standpipe operations, and pressure-reducing-valve instruction. The requested equipment includes a trailer-mounted 2,000- to 3,000-gallon steel recirculation tank with portable hydrant, hose and equipment storage, dynamic-flow capture capability, and a functional standpipe and manifold system. The standpipe equipment must include six Class I standpipe valves, an additional capped outlet, multiple pressure-reducing and pressure-restricting valve configurations, globe valves, casters, shelving, and a durable powder-coated frame. The bid also includes specified fittings, valves, adapters, shipping, manufacturer warranty information, delivery timing, and pricing for the complete assembly and listed line items. Electronic submission through the City's OpenGov e-procurement portal is required; insurance documentation is required from the successful bidder before contract execution and work begins.
