Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a firm-fixed-price quote for a complete electrical or manual handwheel-operated mobile shelving system for the 48th Component Maintenance Squadron's Fuel Systems Section at RAF Lakenheath. The requirement calls for 48 rolling cabinet units, configured as seven bays with heavy-duty mobile bases, surface-mounted tracks, an infill floor, operating-end ramps, one pass-through bay, and integrated toolbox drawers. The system must provide secure, centralized storage for specialized tools, Alternate Mission Equipment, and personal protective equipment used in F-15 and F-35 maintenance operations. The contractor must deliver and install the system using certified engineers and comply with the stated dimensional, configuration, shipping, installation, access, and safety requirements. Quotes must include firm-fixed pricing and technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the Statement of Work; the technical documentation may not exceed 10 pages. The completed Attachment 2 Quote Sheet is required, and an active System for Award Management registration plus a CAGE or NCAGE code must be provided. Amendment 1 changes the quote deadline from September 8 to September 14, 2026, and states that a Q&A document will be posted soon.
