Description
Breitung Township Schools is soliciting bids for custom cabinetry construction and installation in seven kindergarten classrooms and seven first-grade classrooms at Woodland Elementary. The scope specifies different laminate finishes for each pod, white melamine interiors, edge banding, solid light-gray PLAM countertops with triple cove, and door pulls and hardware. Cabinets are generally limited to 24 inches in width, except those containing a sink; boot drip pans and door vents are excluded. Bidders must include casework designs, sections, and details with their bids and field-verify measurements before construction. Cabinets must be delivered by July 6, 2027, and installation is scheduled from July 6 through August 13, 2027. The two pods are to be completed independently and simultaneously using two crews. A $1,000-per-day fine applies beginning August 13, 2027, for failure to meet the deadline. A copy of the contractor’s license and insurance must be provided with the bid; the solicitation also includes a familial disclosure affidavit and an Iran Economic Sanctions Act certification. The insurance attachment states that copies of coverage are due at contract execution, so that certificate is not a bid-time submittal.
