Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO 17), is seeking to identify vendors capable of providing full service for Philips Invivo DynaCAD software and hardware. This includes repairs, preventative maintenance, labor, and travel for the DynaCAD systems located at the VA Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. The service contract should align with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and include remote and on-site support, software updates, and discounts on upgrades. The period of performance is anticipated to be a base year from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with four option years. Field service engineers must be certified by the original manufacturer, and all parts must be new from the original manufacturer. The contractor will be required to report to the Biomedical Engineering Department for check-in and check-out procedures, and all work must be documented with a detailed service report. Information technology security requirements, including compliance with federal laws and VA directives regarding information security, must be strictly adhered to. All sensitive VA information must be handled in accordance with applicable regulations, and vendors will be chaperoned by VA personnel during on-site service.
