Description
South Pike County School District is soliciting bids for Category Two network equipment and managed internal broadband services. The equipment scope includes six network switches and 90 wireless access points, with one-, three-, or five-year licensing options. The district prefers HPE Aruba equipment, requires compatibility with existing Aruba Central Cloud Management, and will not accept refurbished equipment or equipment from manufacturers identified on the FCC Covered List. Installation, configuration, and activation are required for the internal-connections equipment; cabling drops are not required. The managed-services scope covers either the new equipment project or existing equipment, including Aruba switches and wireless access points. Bidders must submit a complete project rather than individual components, complete the C2 Cover Page, provide compatibility documentation where applicable, participate in the E-Rate program, identify their SPIN, and include all applicable fees, surcharges, and taxes. Attendance at one of two mandatory site visits is required to submit a bid. Awards are contingent on E-Rate funding and final board approval.
