The Liberal R-II School District is soliciting bids for comprehensive grounds maintenance services, including routine mowing and snow removal. The contract period is from April 1st, 2026, through March 31st, 2027, with mowing services not to exceed 30 times per year. Services required include weekly routine mowing and trimming, blowing debris from parking lots and sidewalks, weed control and spraying around buildings, landscape beds, sidewalks, parking lots, tracks, and fences, and general grounds cleanup as needed. Special considerations for mowing include performing services only when students are not present and avoiding mowing during or immediately after rainfall. Snow removal services will include clearing parking lots, shoveling sidewalks, and applying ice melt as requested by the district. Bids are due by 1:00 PM on March 23rd, 2027. Bids received after this deadline will not be considered.
