Description

The City of Elk Grove is soliciting bids for construction of the Laguna Creek Trail and Bruceville Road Sidewalk Improvements Project (WTL019; Federal Project No. CML-5479(053)). The work includes approximately 0.94 mile of new asphalt Class I bikeway and sidewalk improvements, grading, aggregate base, hot-mix asphalt, concrete sidewalks and curb ramps, drainage facilities, traffic handling, signs and striping, landscaping, irrigation modifications, utility adjustments, fencing, benches, receptacles, and related improvements. The estimated bid value is $2,981,000, with an 80-working-day completion period beginning upon the Notice to Proceed or commencement of work, whichever occurs first. A Class A California General Engineering Contractor's License is required. The project is federally funded and includes prevailing-wage, Buy America, environmental, disadvantaged-business, and federal-aid compliance requirements.
