The New Mexico Economic Development Department's Outdoor Recreation Division is seeking proposals for a Community Engagement and Designation Specialist. The selected offeror will provide community outreach, coordination, and technical assistance to identify and advance potential Rio Grande Trail segments and connecting spurs. The work will support the Outdoor Recreation Division and the Rio Grande Trail Commission in evaluating potential trail segments for designation. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on October 1, 2026; the full RFP will be available through the department's public notices page on that date.
