Description
Norfolk Public Library System is soliciting proposals for fully managed, symmetrical Dedicated Internet Access with transport service. The required service must provide at least 1 Gbps download and upload capacity, with offers requested for incremental bandwidth options up to 5 Gbps. The provider must supply a 5 Gbps-capable fiber-optic connection, static IP addresses, router lease options and pricing, and dedicated bandwidth with a committed information rate and no usage caps or throttling. The solution must terminate at the building demarcation point and extend through required infrastructure, cross-connects, conduit, and internal cabling to the applicant’s data center. Proposals must identify the interconnection location, cross-connect responsibilities, remote-hands support, entrance-facility conditions, and all site-delivery, construction, permitting, pathway, and right-of-way costs. Pricing must separately identify monthly recurring, non-recurring, and special-construction charges and must be submitted using the specified pricing attachment in XLS or XLSX format. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027; contracted-service proposals are requested to include 60-month pricing and two optional 12-month extensions.
