Description
The District seeks a contractor to locate and maintain its district-owned dark fiber network connecting district buildings. Work includes registering and maintaining network records with Gopher State One Call, responding to locate requests and related plans, supporting any aerial fiber segments, and providing 24/7 maintenance coverage. For fiber outages, the contractor must have the appropriate crew and equipment on site within four hours of the outage call and perform repair work as needed. The contractor is also responsible for applicable locate registration and ticket costs and for pursuing reimbursement from third parties when their errors cause outages.
