Description
The U.S. Army seeks mature, production-ready tracked 155 mm self-propelled howitzer and tracked ammunition resupply vehicle solutions as an integrated capability set. The Phase 1 Solution Brief should describe the proposed platform’s maturity, performance, U.S. ammunition and fire-control interoperability, delivery schedule, rough-order-of-magnitude pricing, and plan to establish domestic production. The Army prioritizes early delivery of six sets and seeks a credible path to U.S.-based production within two years of award; the broader prototype effort may include up to 18 sets. The prototype effort also encompasses testing and Soldier evaluation, integration with U.S. fire-control and network systems, ammunition compatibility work, training and technical support, and delivery of technical data and software to support sustainment and modernization. Phase 1 requires a Solution Brief and the completed Appendix C Representations and Certifications. The solicitation describes later phases for invited offerors; their additional proposal materials are not Phase 1 submission requirements. The agreement draft states a period of performance of up to 48 months after award and identifies a Secret classification level for the agreement.
