Description
Nassau County seeks proposals to demolish the existing residence and construct a new 904-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom site-built home at the project property, using County-provided plans and specifications. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision; handle demolition and construction permitting and utility coordination; remove debris; and provide temporary utilities and a storage POD for the homeowner’s belongings. Optional priced work includes assessments of the septic system, well, and need for a stem wall. The project must be completed within 120 days after contract execution. Respondents must hold an active Florida license in good standing and be approved for the SHIP program contractor list. The proposal must include the specified qualifications and staffing information, references for similar work performed within the past five years, pricing, required forms, proof of E-Verify registration, insurance evidence, applicable licenses, and—if the bid is at least $100,000—a bid bond. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through is required; proposals must be submitted electronically through the County’s PlanetBids platform.
