Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation-Richmond is seeking an indefinite-quantity contractor to newly manufacture 3,320 Housing, Image, Intensifier units, NSN 5855-01-442-6412, under solicitation SPE4A7-26-R-0794. The requirement includes procuring or manufacturing component parts; inspection and testing; preservation, packaging, and shipping; and furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment needed to produce the item. Surplus material will not be accepted, and technical orders, qualification requirements, specifications, plans, and drawings are not available from the government. The contractor may also be responsible for supply-chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead-time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing-source and material-shortage mitigation, and shipment of serviceable assets. A subcontracting plan is required. The anticipated contract is an indefinite-quantity contract with five one-year periods. The procurement is unrestricted, and final award may consider price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. The solicitation is expected to be available through the DLA Internet Bid Board System on September 29, 2026.
