The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting a two-phase, firm-fixed-price design-build contract to repair and construct an addition to the approximately 26,000-square-foot Army Reserve Equipment Concentration Site Maintenance Building 56767 at North Fort Hood, Texas. The work includes HVAC and electrical repairs, interior demolition and reconfiguration for flexible workspace, bathroom restoration, code-compliant lighting, flooring replacement, fire alarm and suppression systems, electrical conduit distribution, accessibility improvements including an entrance ramp, site utility and drainage work, and compliance with Department of Defense antiterrorism standards. The project includes options. Phase II selected offerors must submit a design narrative, management plan, schedule narrative, price, Standard Form 1442, evidence of ability to obtain bonding, proof of financial ability, and pre-award information. The estimated construction magnitude is $10 million to $25 million, and the contract duration is estimated at 913 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This is a total small-business set-aside and is subject to the availability of funds.
