Description
The Navy seeks an estimated price for the full effort to inspect and refurbish a cylinder assembly in accordance with the cited drawings and repair instructions. Respondents must also provide a price for a new assembly, the teardown and evaluation rate, proposed repair turnaround time, throughput constraints, and induction expiration date. The requested turnaround time is 151 days; final delivery is required within 196 days after the resulting contract’s effective date. The contractor must determine whether refurbishment is feasible, preserve unit traceability, maintain the equipment’s configuration, and meet the specified serialization, tagging, packaging, and quality requirements. Government quality assurance may be performed at the contractor’s facility, and the contractor must have authorized access to a drawing classified Confidential.
