Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Western States Network Consortium, is soliciting a single-award, firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for medical coding books and related coding software. The requested items include CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, clinical documentation improvement, auditing, evaluation and management coding references, and EncoderPro.com products. The solicitation is brand-name-or-equal for Optum medical coding books; alternate products must be manufactured by the American Medical Association or an authorized distributor partner. Defective items must be replaced at no cost to the Government, and substitutions require contracting officer approval. The five-year ordering period runs from December 21, 2026, through December 20, 2031, with estimated annual quantities listed in Attachment A and pricing required in column O of Attachment B. The contract has a $50,000 guaranteed minimum and a $1,500,000 price ceiling over its life; individual orders may not exceed $100,000. Deliveries will be made to facilities throughout the Western States Network Consortium, with destinations specified in individual orders. Past performance involving similar work within the previous five years is required, and the Buy American Certificate must be completed and submitted.
