Description
The Air Force Research Laboratory is soliciting white papers for research, development, integration, test, and evaluation of technologies and techniques for Next Generation Target Tracking architectures. This includes exploiting a wide array of both open data sources and traditional data sources and leveraging the power of AI, ML, and MI algorithms in a High Performance Computing (HPC) enabled framework. The announcement seeks new algorithms, methods, techniques, and applications for technical areas such as 3D pixel, vector, and point cloud processing and accelerations, development of methods utilizing AI/ML for identification, classification, and pattern learning that inference over information from multiple data modalities, and processing of cellphone GPS and non-GPS data into and display Graphical Information System (GIS) data that can assist first responders in identifying the location of individuals in disaster areas based on last known location from their personal devices. Total funding for this ARA is approximately $99M.
