Description
Cecil County Public Schools is soliciting a one-vendor contract for the supply and delivery of B5 biodiesel to one large above-ground tank and low-sulfur red-dyed diesel to generator tanks at multiple school facilities. Fuel will be purchased on a per-gallon basis, with pricing tied to Baltimore, Maryland OPIS benchmark prices plus the bidder's delivery cost and applicable Maryland motor-fuel tax. Quantities are estimates only and do not guarantee purchases. The contractor must provide automatic and on-call deliveries, maintain fuel levels at the primary tank above 30% of capacity, respond to generator delivery requests within 24 hours, provide metered proof-of-delivery tickets, comply with applicable fuel specifications and licensing requirements, and supply a remote tank reader at the Administrative Services Center. The contract has an initial one-year term beginning January 1, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. The response must include pricing, company information, a one-page capability cover page, required affidavits and forms, references, and any exceptions to the solicitation terms.
