Description
The City of Fairhope is requesting proposals from underwriting firms to serve as senior manager or underwriter for its proposed $80,000,000 General Obligation Water and Sewer Warrants, Series 2026. The financing would repay the City's $30,000,000 PNC credit facility plus accrued interest, fund capital improvements to its water works plant and distribution and sanitary sewer systems, and pay costs of issuance. The City is also requesting bank-loan term sheets in tandem with this solicitation. Respondents must address their qualifications and comparable experience, credit analysis and rating recommendations, financing structure and anticipated pricing, capital position and underwriting capacity, proposed underwriter compensation and takedown, and any proposed underwriter's counsel. Responses are limited to 15 pages excluding appendices, must be signed by an authorized firm representative, and must include the requested fee and expense breakdowns.
