Description
The City of Galveston is soliciting qualifications for Bond Underwriting Services to establish a pool of firms for future negotiated bond sales over the next 5 years. The city anticipates forming a pool of up to 12 firms. Selected firms will be responsible for marketing and underwriting the city's negotiated bond sales. The scope of work includes providing financial expertise, resumes of assigned professionals, firm history, municipal practice experience in Texas, and details on past underwriting transactions. Firms will also be evaluated on their financial capabilities, marketing and underwriting strengths, and their commitment to Texas issuers. The city reserves the right to award multiple agreements and does not guarantee any specific volume of work to selected firms.
