Alberta Environment and Protected Areas is seeking consulting services for a six-month project focused on evaluating methods and options for conducting cost-benefit assessments of potential large water storage and related infrastructure projects. The successful contractor will review relevant approaches and recommend and develop standardized assessment methods that enable comparability across multiple projects in Alberta. The work supports Alberta's broader water storage and infrastructure planning, including consideration of long-term water storage needs, funding and delivery approaches, and cultural, social, economic, environmental, and technical factors. The proposed contract start date is November 2, 2026.
