Description
The County of Delaware is seeking bids for the construction of a new security checkpoint booth at the G.W. Hill Correctional Facility. This project involves the removal of the existing security checkpoint booth and the construction of a new one behind the current structure. The scope of work includes general construction, as well as all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and casework to support the new booth's operations. Workers on-site will be required to pass a background check administered by the George W. Hill Correctional Facility. The base bid includes no ballistic window glazing and frames/hollow metal doors and frames, with add alternates for ballistic window glazing and frames/ballistic hollow metal doors and frames. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing the gates.
