Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting seal rings for nuclear reactor applications under a total small-business set-aside. The procurement includes manufacturing and delivery of the specified repair-part material, compliance with applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD), drawings, military specifications, and technical requirements, and adherence to required packaging, packing, marking, cleanliness, and mercury-exclusion provisions. The contractor must conduct first-article testing and inspection on one unit, maintain an acceptable inspection system, and submit required procedure, drawing, vendor-certified test and inspection, lower-tier supplier, and other technical-data packages identified in the IRPOD and Contract Data Requirements List. Technical documents are subject to controlled distribution, including NOFORN restrictions where applicable, and first-article approval is required before production.
