Description
This presolicitation seeks repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and acceptance of 58 flight-critical electrical chassis components identified as NSN 7R-5975-015123483-V2, part number 105E7315G3, under Technical Data Package Version 001. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, repair procedures, testing, and quality controls necessary to return the items to Ready-for-Issue condition. Delivery is FOB origin, and the contractor must provide a repair turnaround time and monthly throughput constraint. The requirement includes engineering source approval before award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited, while alternate or unapproved sources must submit the information required by the applicable source-approval brochure with their proposal. The contractor must maintain compliant quality, inspection, configuration-management, calibration, storage, and historical-record systems, and must perform the work at the facility identified in the statement of work. The notice states that the Government intends to negotiate with one source under FAR 6.302-1, although responsible sources may submit capability information or proposals for consideration.
