Description
The DEVCOM Analysis Center (DAC) is seeking research proposals for applied research, advanced technology development, and advanced component development and prototypes. This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) aims to solicit innovative research concepts that could lead to significant advancements in Army technologies and operational capabilities. Proposals are sought from various entities, including institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, foreign organizations, and for-profit organizations. The DAC's mission is to inform Army modernization and readiness decisions through data-driven analysis, tool development, and data curation. The specific research topics of interest are available on the DAC BAA topics website, and interested parties are encouraged to review these topics for potential alignment with their research concepts. While the listed topics are suggestive, DAC is also open to considering other innovative research concepts relevant to the Army's mission and DAC's foundational research competencies. Proposals can be submitted as whitepapers for initial concept reviews or as full proposals. The submission process involves electronic submission through Grants.gov for assistance instruments, or Grants.gov or email for contracts and Other Transactions (OTs). The BAA is continuously open for submissions until January 4, 2028.
