Description
Canby School District 86 is soliciting proposals for E-Rate-eligible wide area network transport services connecting district facilities. The scope includes five leased lit fiber connections with capacities from 25 to 50 Gbps and ten leased dark fiber strands. Lit-fiber proposals must provide fully managed, dedicated, symmetrical point-to-point connectivity, including all required electronics and equipment. Dark-fiber proposals must provide dedicated symmetrical fiber strands, with specified single-mode OS2 fiber, LC terminations, testing, documentation, and maintenance. The proposal must address network design, path diversity, service levels, implementation timelines, demarcation, logical network diagrams, geographic fiber pathway maps, construction and installation requirements, and ongoing support. Special construction pricing and cost allocation must be provided when applicable. The RFP requires a description of the proposed solution, SLA, timeline, network diagrams and pathway map, sample contract, three customer references from similar projects completed within the last five years, and specified attachments and pricing forms. Services are expected to be available no later than July 1, 2027, subject to applicable funding and any required special construction.
