Description
Long Beach Township is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of one 2027 Harley-Davidson Police Road Glide motorcycle or equivalent. The specified vehicle is a 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Police Motorcycle in Vivid Black, and bidders may propose equivalent or higher-quality substitutions subject to the Township's approval. The Township may purchase one, multiple, or none of the vehicles, and the bid price must remain valid through December 31, 2027. The vehicle must include Harley-Davidson's special extended warranties and an original Parts and Accessories Warranty from the distributor. The contractor is responsible for title, tags, registration, transportation, and delivery, with delivery required within 60 days of the order and at least 72 hours' advance notice. Required bid materials include the bid form and specifications, authorized-agent documentation, New Jersey business registration certificate, ownership disclosure, addenda acknowledgment, applicable statutory certifications, non-collusion affidavit, affirmative-action documentation, indemnification form, and other listed certifications. A certificate of insurance is required upon award, and minimum insurance coverage includes $1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate general liability and $1,000,000 business automobile liability.
