Description
The United Nations Development Programme, in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Environmental Protection Authority, seeks a national individual consultant to serve as Chief of Staff to the Director General. The consultant will provide technical advice and executive support on environmental protection strategies, policy development, project management, interagency coordination, strategic planning, and institutional performance. The scope includes coordinating and monitoring strategic priorities, establishing executive decision-tracking and performance-reporting systems, preparing strategic briefs and recommendations, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and supporting institutional reforms and forward strategy. The assignment is for six months and 126 working days, with three deliverables paid at 35%, 40%, and 25%. Applicants must have a relevant master’s degree, at least 10 years of related experience, fluency in English and Amharic, and demonstrated experience with national-level policy and organizational strategy. Technical proposals account for 70% of the evaluation and financial proposals for 30%.
