The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is soliciting qualifications from architectural firms to design a Center for Health Innovation. The architect will collaborate with a university building committee and Facilities Management on campus master planning and facility design. The center will include a Center for Mother and Infant Healthcare with a high-fidelity simulation suite, dedicated obstetrical and postpartum simulation laboratories, and a pediatric simulation laboratory. The total project cost is estimated at a maximum of $15,000,000, including construction, design fees, furniture, fixtures, technology, and equipment. The project is supported by a Congressionally Directed Spending grant.
