Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to award a sole-source contract to Ex Libris USA Inc. for fully hosted, vendor-managed Software-as-a-Service supporting the NOAA Library’s Alma/Primo VE library services platform and discovery system. The platform supports library operations, discovery, resource sharing, and scholarly information workflows for agency users and partners. The scope includes system availability, maintenance, software updates, federal security compliance, and technical support. The notice states that the contract will include a 12-month base period and may be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures up to $9 million. This is a notice of intent to award sole source, not a request for competitive quotes; interested firms may submit written capability information for consideration of whether competition should be conducted.
