Description
This Request for Information seeks qualified sources capable of manufacturing and repairing the gearbox assembly used in the AN/MST-T1 (V) Miniature Multiple Threat Emitter System. The Air Force owns the complete technical data package required for production and is seeking recommendations for improved gear materials and hardening methods to increase durability, reduce wear, and extend service life under operational loads. Respondents are asked to provide company information, relevant capabilities and past performance, fabrication materials, proposed hardening processes, estimated production time for one unit, and a rough-order-of-magnitude cost covering non-recurring engineering, unit production, and sustainment. Requests for the technical data package must include the company's DD 2345 and Joint Certification Program registration. This is an information-gathering notice only and is not a request for proposals or a commitment to procure.
