Description
The City of Prince George is seeking qualified consultants to assess, design, and support construction of upgrades at Well Station PW605. The scope includes redundant ultraviolet treatment, replacement of the existing transformer, review of major electrical components, installation of a backup generator, development of a wellhead protection plan, and flow testing and inspection of the caisson and its laterals. The consultant must prepare reports, technical memoranda, detailed designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications. The contract is divided into three phases: concept design with a Class D cost estimate; detailed design with a Class B cost estimate; and tender-process and construction support. Phases 2 and 3 are contingent on consultant performance and project-budget approval. The City may renew the contract to proceed through the phases and may negotiate sequentially or concurrently with one or more proponents, or award without negotiations.
