Description
BC Timber Sales, within the Babine Business Area (TBA), is soliciting bids for Dangerous Tree Assessment and Falling services. The work will primarily be conducted along Forest Service Roads within the Operating Areas of the Smithers, Houston, and Burns Lake field units. Travel time from the Marshalling Points to the work sites may range from 1.5 to 2.5 hours one-way. This contract includes an Option to Renew clause. Detailed information regarding the contract scope and requirements can be found in the attached contract Schedules and Conditions of Tender. Bidders must submit all contract-related questions in writing by 3:00 pm on June 15, 2026, to Forests.BabineTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. A Question & Answer document will be posted by June 17, 2026, if questions are received. Tender submissions must adhere to the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. Specific guidance on acceptable bid securities and submission methods is available in the Conditions of Tender and BCTS Info to Bidders documents. The lowest priced or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
