Description
Alberta Forestry and Parks is seeking qualified contractors to enter into agreements for the provision of Wildland Engines and Tenders, complete with trained personnel, to assist with wildfire presuppression and suppression efforts in the Forest Protection Area (FPA). Accepted equipment includes Type 4, 5, 6, and 7 Engines and Tactical Types 1 and 2 Tenders. Contractors must meet specifications outlined in Schedule A, provide proof of training per Schedule C, a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR or SECOR), and insurance per Schedule E. There is no guarantee of work; contractors are placed on a call rotation list within their local Forest Area. The agreement is for one year with two possible one-year extensions.
